Airswift is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to work on an outsourced contract (long term), in Mexico City, with an Oil and Gas Company.
Oversee and manage procurement activities associated with Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) contracts, and well engineering contracts of an offshore operated project currently in the Pre-Front End Engineering Design (Pre-FEED) stage, in close collaboration with the Project Director, the engineering team and other stakeholders. Additionally, ensure that procurement processes are aligned with project timelines, budgetary constraints, quality standards, Internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, potential development concepts, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers and vendors and lead the negotiation of key contracts and agreements to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, project-specific requirements and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance to ensure adherence to technical and budgetary constraints.
Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
Provide procurement support to other projects within the company as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing procurement activities for large-scale offshore projects, including FEED and EPCI contracts, platform contracts, and well engineering contracts in the oil and gas industry.
Strong experience in procurement in the oil and gas industry, focused on offshore development projects.
Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
Fluent Spanish and advanced English - Required
Residents or candidates with work permits to work in Mexico.
