1. Current Role & Experience
• Currently working in civil construction surveying (road, earthworks, or similar
projects).
• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in surveying.
• Evidence of field survey tasks: set-out, data capture, as-builts, QA/QC.
2. Skills & Tools
• Proficiency in Trimble Business Center (TBC), AutoCAD, 12d, or equivalent.
• Experience with data management, CAD models, survey equipment setup.
• Microsoft Office literacy, including Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint.
3. Qualifications & Certifications
• Essential: TAFE Surveying Cert III or Undergraduate Certificate of Surveying,
current Driver’s Licence, White Card.
• Desirable: TAFE Cert IV, Bachelor or Associate degree in Surveying, RePL
certification (UAV / Drone).
4. Career Progression & Stability
• Evidence of steady career growth, promotions, or increasing responsibility.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
5. Project & Industry Exposure
• Experience on active civil construction sites.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Exposure to road, earthworks, or similar civil projects.
