We are seeking a skilled SWD Operator to join our team in Monahans, Texas on a full-time contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the oil and gas industry and make a positive impact on our operations.
Role Overview
- Responsible for all aspects of SWD injection well sites, ensuring safety and policy procedures are in place.
- Monitor wind socks and proper signage on tanks, pumps, and filter pots.
- Daily routines include monitoring wellhead pressures, suction/discharge pressures, flow rates, and line pressures.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, gauging and thieving tanks, and coordinating truck movements.
- Troubleshoot automation and perform necessary maintenance on equipment.
- Conduct water transfer operations and monitor for leaks in the area.
- Keep facilities clean and organized at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
- Operator background with experience in compressor/pumping stations and pumps.
- Knowledge of SWD injection well sites, wind socks, signage, wellhead pressures, flow rates, line pressures, and filter differential pressures.
- Experience with pump maintenance, tank gauging and thieving, automation troubleshooting, and water transfer operations.
- Ability to detect and address leaks in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Experience with rig up and frac operations or pumping labor/supervision is a plus.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
