Systems Completion Lead II

Main Functions
The Systems Completion (SC) Lead is responsible for implementing the systems completion process on executing projects. This includes development or review of the Systems Completion Database (SCDB) and oversight of project team Systems Completion Clerks and the SCDB Administrator.
Key responsibilities include:
- In-depth knowledge of the Systems Completion Process (Mechanical Completion, Commissioning and Start-up planning/sequencing, walk down & punch list management, Turn-over and Handover process).
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure systems completion requirements (e.g., walk downs and reviews) are understood and adhered to.
- Working knowledge of Systems Completion Database setup and management.
- Ability to define project hierarchy to match completions plan.
- Strong understanding of project completions strategy, facility hierarchy, discipline construction, and commissioning verification activities.
- Understanding of tagging systems and allocation of A & B check sheets to tags.
- Provide leadership to ensure project priorities of safety, quality, and schedule are achieved.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead and provide guidance in developing Systems Completion strategies, execution plans, and procedures.
- Monitor progress in commissioning activities and assist in resolving Systems Completion issues.
- Promote actions to ensure systems/subsystems reach final completion for handover to downstream pre-commissioning works.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through supervisory or lead positions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build consensus and maintain strong working relationships.
- Adaptability to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
- Knowledge of project completions activities and commissioning practices.
- Familiarity with Systems Completion Database software (e.g., WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, Orbit).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
