Join the Tank Maintenance Team at one of Europe's largest refineries, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in maintaining nearly 500 atmospheric storage tanks! Role Overview

  • MOC Maestro: Take charge of the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring meticulous review and assurance in collaboration with the plant change engineer.

  • Technical Taskmaster: Execute, supervise, and assess technical engineering assignments, including drawings and calculations, while providing invaluable inspection advice for the tank maintenance program.

  • Troubleshooting Titan: Offer technical support and troubleshooting expertise based on applicable laws and regulations, assisting not only the Tank Maintenance Team but also Projects and Operations.

  • Scope Specialist: Deliver raw scope packages aligned with milestones, ensuring that budgetary constraints are met in collaboration with the tank maintenance scope integrator and tank inspection.

  • Lead Innovator: Identify and initiate long lead items in a timely manner, optimizing processes and proposing innovations that elevate our maintenance strategies.

  • Budget Builder: Assist in drawing up annual budgets in accordance with site planning, determining rough lead times as input for the tank maintenance multi-year plan (MYP).

  • Incident Investigator: Lead incident investigations and share lessons learned to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  • Support Champion: Provide technical support to Problem Solving Teams, ensuring effective solutions are implemented.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Maintenance Expertise: At least 5-10 years of work experience in tank maintenance.

  • Standard Knowledge: Thorough understanding of relevant standards such as EEUMUA 159, EN14015, API 650 & 653.

  • Engineering Acumen: Strong knowledge in mechanical engineering, welding & fitting, civil engineering, and electrical/instrumentation.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant technical standards, specifications, and drawings.

  • Process Familiarity: Understanding of maintenance processes and systems, especially in complex, multidisciplinary projects.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: HBO or university level of thinking is required.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years in tank maintenance or related fields is essential.
