Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Hydrogen

Role Summary
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will lead the execution of hydrogen projects from design through commissioning, ensuring delivery meets quality, budget, and schedule targets. Acting as the design authority, the TPM integrates standard products with project-specific customizations, manages technical risks, and coordinates internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the technical scope of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual, safety, and quality standards
- Coordinate engineering and design teams across disciplines and external suppliers
- Lead design reviews, technical meetings, and gate reviews
- Prepare RFQs, negotiate technical aspects with suppliers, and oversee documentation
- Develop and maintain technical project schedules, charters, and risk registers
- Monitor engineering hours, budgets, and resource allocation; implement corrective actions when needed
- Support erection, commissioning, and acceptance tests (FAT/SAT)
- Ensure adherence to internal standards and promote best practices in engineering
- Report technical status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and coach team members
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Civil)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical project environments
- Strong knowledge of international standards (EN, ISO, ASME)
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, mechanical and electrical drawings
- Field experience in erection or commissioning is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced, international environments; willing to travel for short overseas assignments
