Technical Services Specialist (Well Integrity & Leak Testing)

Duration: Permanent
Location: Aberdeen with offshore trips as required
 

Position Overview

This position provides critical technical support for well integrity and leak sealing operations. The role is primarily office-based with an emphasis on engineering support functions, including procedure writing, job planning, and technical preparation. Occasional workshop tasks and deployment to client sites may be required, both onshore and offshore. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and client representatives is central to delivering high-quality, safe, and successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engineering services safely and professionally on client assets and premises.
  • Diagnose technical issues on wellheads, trees, and downhole environments, supporting the development of effective solutions.
  • Deploy products and tooling in accordance with established procedures and job programmes; mobilise for assignments as required (onshore and offshore, UK and internationally).
  • Maintain equipment standards and complete operational reporting in line with safety and procedural requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, procedures, and client presentations.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings related to wellheads, valves, and internal seal structures.
  • Foster continuous improvement by contributing operational feedback.
  • Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, environment, and quality.
  • Support and deliver training to third-party personnel as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with wellheads, valves, sealing systems, or well integrity operations in the oil & gas or a related engineering industry.
  • Proven offshore experience and valid offshore certification is required.
  • Technical or engineering background with hands-on experience.
  • Comfortable with both onshore and offshore assignments, including international travel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and technical documentation.
