The GRID department manages  Belgium's gas transmission network, with the aim of ensuring the continuous supply of gas to end users and ensuring the safety of facilities, the environment and personnel. In concrete terms, this includes the inspection, operation and maintenance of the pipe network and associated facilities, as well as the coordination of all work carried out by third parties in the vicinity of our facilities. Organizationally, the GRID department is divided into 5 regional areas spread over Belgium, reinforced by two central departments (Asset & Maintenance team and Third Party Works team) that define the maintenance program and working methods, and that monitor and improve the reliability and availability of our facilities through technical analyses and innovative solutions.

Mission: You are part of a team that supports the regional areas in the management and maintenance of the gas network, and you report to the Operational Readiness Engineer at GRID. In the context of the energy transition and objective to transport H2 and CO2 molecules in our infrastructures in the short term, your main responsibilities are:
• To draft, structure and update clear, precise instructions, procedures and technical guides adapted to end users.
• To analyse the impact of new molecules on our activities and to contact the various departments to collect all the information necessary for the drafting of documents.
• Follow up on requests for information and follow up with stakeholders if necessary.
• Organize and lead document clarification or validation meetings.
• Guarantee the consistency, compliance and quality of the documents produced.
• Publish and manage documentation on SharePoint and/or other collaborative platforms.
• Train and support users in the proper use of documents and document management tools.
• Contribute to the Designing teaching materials, for example by creating content (e.g. in Powerpoint) or by working with the Technical Training department to develop new training courses.

Your profile:
• You have a higher degree (bachelor's or master's degree) or equivalent experience in the technical writing of documentation in an industrial or technical environment.
• You have a passion for the energy transition and have a good dose of intellectual curiosity in understanding industrial activities
• You are comfortable communicating orally and in writing,  Both with technical and non-technical profiles. You have the ability to explain complex subjects clearly
• You enjoy teamwork and know how to be a teacher. Once the information has been collected, you know how to work independently.
• You have excellent organizational skills and rigor.
• You know how to take initiative to retrieve information and follow up on requests.
• You are proficient in the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
• You have a solid knowledge of Dutch and French. You also have a working knowledge of English.
