Position: Tekla Designer – Offshore Steel Structures

About the Role
Airswift is proud to partner with a major international engineering organization on a Low-Carbon Ammonia Facility project. We are seeking an experienced Tekla Designer to join the structural design team, focusing on offshore modular steelwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Model offshore modular steel structures in Tekla Structures, including complex assemblies and arrangements.
- Extract and annotate drawings from Tekla; produce and format 2D plans in MicroStation.
- Convert Tekla models into Smart 3D (S3D) and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bills of materials.
- Apply AWS welding symbols and material specifications in design documentation.
- Adhere to project standards, QA procedures, and schedule requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in Tekla Structures for offshore steel design.
- Proficiency in MicroStation (2D) for plan creation and annotation.
- Experience converting models between Tekla and Smart 3D (S3D).
- Strong understanding of offshore installation specifics and modular steelwork.
- Knowledge of AWS welding symbology and materials.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-presented documentation in English.
Preferred
- Background on large-scale EPC projects.
- Familiarity with project standards and QA processes in an offshore context.
