Role Overview
- Operate automotive test engines and vehicles according to established specifications.
- Monitor operations and adjust control systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Diagnose problems and perform repairs on test engines and control systems.
- Maintain adequate fuel supply to all engines and vehicles.
- Work rotating shifts (Day, Swing, Grave) as part of a dedicated team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude essential for engine and system operation.
- Technical Experience: 3-5 years working with automotive engines or mechanical systems.
- Process Control: Experience in monitoring and adjusting process control systems.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in algebra for operational calculations.
- Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills within a technical environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Education & Experience
- Experience: 3-5 years in a technical environment related to automotive mechanics.
- Training: Formal training in automotive technology or related fields preferred.
- Certification: ASE Certified or similar certification in automotive mechanics is advantageous.
