Initially and occasionally there will be trips to site (Grimsby UK) to either operate the vessel from the ROC or via remote control within line of sight to get the USV in and out of harbor.
This will be on ad-hoc basis, up to 12 hours per day and up to 7 days a week. Night-time work is also to be expected in some occasions.
The job can (if mutually agreed) include service and maintenance or supervision of suppliers working on the vessels.
Requirements:
The candidate must hold the certificates specified below and they must be up to date.
USV Operator Training Course (Maritime Robotics) (This can be arranged after hiring)
GWO or STCW Basic Safety Training VI/I 1,2,3,4
GMDSS Restricted Operator Certificate
STCW Deck Hand for USV
STCW ECDIS AIS for USV
STCW Radar/ARPA for USV
USV Experience is a firm requirement.
The Candidate must be able to travel to and work in the UK (Potential Visa will be at their own expense).
The candidate must bring own relevant PPE for site work including but not limited to life vest when working near key side.
