Join our dynamic team as a Vendor Performance Coordinator for an exciting LNG project in the heart of Nanterre, France! In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our vendors meet the highest standards of performance and compliance, contributing to the success of a major player in the energy sector.
Role Overview
- Define expediting and inspection levels based on Criticality Analysis.
- Perform, coordinate, and be accountable for all Vendor Performance Management (VPM) activities for assigned Purchase Orders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements throughout Purchase Order execution.
- Maintain and update IT tools for VPM activities, validating progress.
- Analyze supplier information and monitor Purchase Order execution, distributing key highlights to the project team.
- Identify potential critical paths/events affecting delivery dates and quality, coordinating mitigation plans.
- Check VPM project deliverables before distribution to the project team.
- Manage timely execution of Purchase Order steps to prevent delays.
- Coach and train other VPM coordinators on specific topics.
- Contribute to supplier and Inspection Agencies performance evaluations.
- Manage interfaces with Project, Client, and Supplier as the single point of accountability for relevant Purchase Orders.
- Issue assignment requests/POs and requisitions for Shop Expeditors and Inspectors.
- Organize and attend VPM execution meetings, ensuring prerequisites are met.
- Prepare reports and KPIs for VPM activities and monitor man-hours budget on Purchase Orders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Vendor Management System (VMS) expertise.
- Strong vendor management skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with Material Management Systems (e.g., Smart Material - Intergraph) is a plus.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to functional areas.
- Good presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels.
Education & Experience
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Inspection, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, or Project Management.
