About the Role

Airswift is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector. This position is responsible for the daily operational execution of warehouse activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations that support the site’s business priorities. The role requires strong adherence to operational integrity, safety standards, and effective coordination with Business Units, Procurement teams, and Suppliers.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Carry out daily warehouse tasks including goods receiving, issuing, storage, inventory handling, and general warehouse functions.
  • Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and loading/unloading vehicles.
  • Execute all warehouse operations in line with established procedures, controls, and the Procurement Warehouse Handbook.
  • Maintain accurate onsite inventory management and transaction processing to support business operations.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure optimal safety, security, and control performance that aligns with global standards.
  • Demonstrate strong safety awareness and proactively identify potential hazards.

Systems & Administration

  • Conduct administrative tasks in ERP systems (SAP R/3), spreadsheets, databases, and other applications as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting to support warehouse operations.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with Business Units, Procurement colleagues, and Suppliers regarding day?to?day operational matters.
  • Work under moderate supervision while identifying operational issues and seeking assistance where needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong awareness of safety, security, and warehouse control standards.
  • Good knowledge of Warehouse Management, Materials Distribution, and Inventory Control principles.
  • Experience with SAP R/3 and general warehouse management technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with moderate direction and resolve routine operational issues.
