This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Mechanical discipline activities during construction, pre
?
commissioning, and commissioning phases at site. This role ensures that all Mechanical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project HSSE, Quality, and schedule requirements as defined in the construction & commissioning execution plan.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all Mechanical construction and commissioning activities are carried out according to approved drawings, plans, specifications, and project schedules, in compliance with HSSE and Quality standards.
Supervise daily site operations for Mechanical discipline, including workforce coordination, material handling, equipment usage, and verification that the team uses the latest project documents and procedures.
Enforce HSSE protocols and ensure that all Mechanical activities adhere to safety regulations and company standards.
Coordinate with construction teams, commissioning teams, project management, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and workflow conflicts.
Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot challenges, and support smooth transitions and handovers between construction and commissioning phases.
Implement approved changes to construction or commissioning scope and assess their potential impact on project deliverables and timelines.
Prepare and submit progress reports summarizing key achievements, issues encountered, and recommended actions for the project management team.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Construction or Commissioning Supervisor, with strong knowledge of Mechanical construction and commissioning processes.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, technical documents, and engineering specifications.
Exposure to offshore topsides, modularized facilities, or fabrication yard environments is an advantage.
