The Project

You will be part of an Engineering entity supporting large-scale industrial projects, contributing to the deployment and optimization of AVEVA solutions within a digital Engineering 4.0 environment.

The role sits at the intersection of engineering, data management, and digital tools, ensuring the efficiency, consistency, and governance of 3D modeling activities across projects.

You will collaborate with project teams, IT departments, and external partners to deliver robust and scalable 3D model environments aligned with project and business requirements.

The Role

As a 3D Modeling Administrator & Data Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of AVEVA E3D environments.

You play a key role in ensuring that 3D modeling tools, data structures, and workflows are efficient, standardized, and compliant with project requirements.

You will also act as a technical reference for users, providing support, training, and innovative solutions to improve productivity and data quality across engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

3D Modeling Administration & Data Management

  • Manage users, access rights, and databases within AVEVA E3D environments
  • Configure and maintain document output tools (Review, Isodraft, Draw, etc.)
  • Ensure proper data structuring, archiving, and lifecycle management of 3D models (libraries)
  • Monitor system performance, licenses, and usage

Project Support & Implementation

  • Participate in the implementation and deployment of AVEVA tools on engineering projects
  • Define E3D specifications aligned with project requirements
  • Support project teams in the use of 3D modeling tools and environments
  • Coordinate with other E3D administrators across multiple projects

Development & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop macros and new functionalities to meet user and discipline needs
  • Contribute to the digital transformation of engineering processes (Engineering 4.0)
  • Identify optimization opportunities and propose technical improvements

Coordination & Interfaces

  • Interface with IT for system architecture and support
  • Manage data exchanges with external stakeholders (partners, subsidiaries)
  • Ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and procedures
  • Issue and update E3D usage procedures and guidelines

Quality & Model Review

  • Prepare and participate in 3D model reviews
  • Perform clash detection using tools such as Navisworks
  • Ensure quality control of 3D models and implement corrective actions
  • Verify adherence to modeling standards and best practices

Support & Training

  • Provide technical support to E3D users
  • Deliver training and update user methodology guides
  • Ensure proper application of modeling rules and workflows

Tools & Software

  • AVEVA E3D (mandatory)
  • Navisworks (or similar clash detection tools)
  • Engineering data management tools
  • Macro programming / scripting within E3D

Profile

Education

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in AVEVA E3D administration (senior level)
  • Proven experience in 3D modeling environments within industrial projects
  • Solid understanding of engineering data management and workflows
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industry is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of macro development and customization in E3D
