Key Account Manager (Copenhagen)

Location: Copenhagen

Company Summary:

We are glad to be retained by a growing international company operating in the renewable energy sector, with an established presence across multiple European markets. The business offers a portfolio of clean energy solutions, including photovoltaic inverters, battery storage systems, EV chargers, heat pumps and energy management solutions, serving residential, commercial and larger-scale applications. As part of its ongoing expansion, the company is looking to appoint an experienced commercial professional to help drive further growth and strengthen key customer relationships in Europe.

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for driving sales activity across both existing key accounts and new business opportunities within the region. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and developing tailored commercial strategies to expand market presence and revenue. In addition, you will act as an important link between customers and internal leadership, ensuring clear communication, alignment on business priorities, and a high level of service and support throughout the sales process.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good relationships with the clients.

  • Take over the client pipeline.

  • Work towards the large EPC/installers in Denmark.

  • Prepare contracts and projects.

  • Identify sales opportunities.

  • Expand with new sales.

  • Visit clients and uncover further needs for existing sales.

Requirements:

  • Strong client relationship skills.

  • Experience managing a sales pipeline.

  • 4-5 years of experience from a similar job within PV or renewable energy.

  • Experience working with EPCs or installers in Denmark is a plus.

  • Ability to prepare proposals, contracts, and support projects.

  • Ability to identify opportunities and win new business.

  • Willingness to travel and meet clients. Fluent English and Danish

    required.
