Role Context
This position supports commercial operations and involves close interaction with commercial product schedulers, peers in Billing, Refinery Analysts, Inventory & Exchange Analysts, the Master Data Group, and the Commercial Integration Group.
About the Role
The role contributes to accurate deal-to-dollar activities by supporting product actualization, resolving volume discrepancies, and helping maintain consistency across accounting and operational records.
Key Responsibilities
Record and initiate product purchases and sales in SAP S4 using pipeline tickets and custody transfer documentation.
Support monthly closing activities by booking accruals and actuals and verifying the accuracy of accounting entries.
Resolve volume discrepancies related to inventory reconciliation and invoice processing.
Assist with audit-related activities, including documentation gathering and data validation.
Collaborate with schedulers and traders to resolve issues and maintain consistency in product actualization.
Support team projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Bachelor’s degree.
Advanced Excel Skills: V-lookup (X-lookup), creating pivot tables, creating graphs from pivot tables.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Eagerness to learn new concepts.
Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.
Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to lead others without direct authority.
Ability to build relationships and act as a resource for internal and external business partners.
