Area Construction Superintendent
Location: Onshore - Nigeria
Contract: 12 months (renewable)
Rotation / Set up: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Expected starting date: July 2026
Join our dynamic team as an Area Construction Superintendent, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing multi-discipline construction activities for topside module fabrication and integration in the thriving construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects in Nigeria, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Role Overview
- Manage and coordinate all daily multi-discipline construction activities on-site.
- Review area/modules construction methods, priorities, and schedules.
- Coordinate system/sub-system MC and PCC activities.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities by providing strong leadership.
- Develop and maintain short-term (look-ahead) schedules and trackers.
- Ensure teams are working according to schedule and plan.
- Direct and supervise site personnel, including supervisors.
- Track and report daily progress of construction activities.
- Enforce job site quality standards and mitigate re-works.
- Ensure compliance with job site safety and Company HSSE requirements.
- Provide technical expertise on construction techniques to the site team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Construction Management: Strong understanding of construction principles and processes.
- HSSE Knowledge: Familiarity with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry with a focus on construction & commissioning processes.
