Key Responsibilities
1. New Product Introduction (NPI) Planning
- Own end?to?end supply planning for NPIs, from pre?launch readiness through post?launch stabilization.
- Translate NPI demand assumptions and launch plans into feasible supply, production, and distribution plans.
- Coordinate initial build, pipeline fill, safety stock strategy, and launch inventory positioning across plants and importing markets.
- Identify and mitigate launch risks (plant feasibility, capacity, lead time, MOQ, supplier readiness, logistics constraints).
- Support launch readiness reviews and ensure timely issue escalation and resolution.
- Track NPI performance metrics (service and saving, inventory, launch stability, SLOB exposure).
2. Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM)
- Manage phase?in / phase?out (PIPO) planning to ensure smooth transitions between old and new products.
- Control inventory exposure during SKU ramp?up, ramp?down, and discontinuation, minimizing SLOB and write?offs.
- Align depletion plans for obsolete SKUs with Demand Planning, Commercial, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Ensure life?cycle decisions are reflected accurately in supply, DRP, and inventory plans.
3. Supply & Execution Planning
- Coordinate with Selling markets & Supply planners in developing short? and mid?term supply plans for NPI and transitioning SKUs at item/market level.
- Monitor execution post?launch and adjust plans based on actual demand, sell?in/sell?out, and supply performance.
- Collaborate with plants, material planners, procurement to manage production slots, material availability, packaging artwork/development readiness.

4. S&OP & Cross?Functional Alignment
- Reflect NPI plan into S&OP and S&OE process, including Monthly Supply Review, Weekly MPS and etc.
- Align launch volumes and timelines with Demand & Supply Planning, Marketing, Selling Markets.

5. System, Master Data & Governance
- Ensure accurate Product Registration, SKU setup and master data for NPIs (FG, RM, packaging) in JDE, Kinaxis, Streamline/Fusion platform.
- Maintain planning parameters such as lead times, MOQ, sourcing rules, and stocking policies for NPI SKUs.
- Support governance, compliance, and change management processes related to NPI and PLC activities, e.g. SIRIM Tracking for Malaysia, Chemical Inventory, Import License & etc.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Statistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience in lubricants, FMCG, chemicals, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong functional and leadership capability in demand and supply planning.
- Fluent English; additional proficiency in Chinese or Japanese (read, write, speak) is required for market support.
Experience Requirements
5
+ years of experience in Supply Planning, NPI Planning, or Product Life Cycle roles.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, fast?changing demand, and tight launch timelines.
Strong stakeholder management and cross?functional collaboration skills.
Hands?on experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., JDE, SAP, Kinaxis).
Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel and presentation capability.
