Role Overview:
People & Culture Services & Solutions (P&C S+S) is a global HR shared services organisation responsible for delivering centralized and standardized HR services. The Payroll & Local Delivery Senior Specialist is responsible for payroll processing and local administrative activities, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule in compliance with Malaysian statutory and tax requirements.
- Administer employee benefits including enrollment and updates (e.g., medical benefits).
- Manage employee exits including resignation, termination, retirement, redundancy, and prepare related documentation.
- Handle third-party administration such as vendor invoicing and coordinate payments with Finance.
- Manage employment contract stamping and documentation.
- Administer work passes for foreign employees.
- Provide Tier 2 support for payroll, compensation, benefits, and tax-related queries.
- Maintain proper document retention (softcopy and hardcopy).
- Manage service request queue to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure compliance in payroll, statutory contributions, tax reporting, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance for payroll-related financial transactions and funding.
- Ensure adherence to global HR SOPs and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in payroll, Malaysian employment law, statutory compliance, and HR processes.
