JOB DESCRIPTION – Business Analyst
Department: Business Development
Reporting To: Business Development Director
Purpose of the Job
To support the identification and attraction of investors by providing guidance and ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to establish and maintain business relationships. The role involves reviewing investor applications, completing required documentation, allocating plots, and providing recommendations to the Business Development Director.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Business Development Director to identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives, while strengthening relationships with existing investors.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of strong relationships with investors, guiding them through the process of establishing a business within the Zones, including assessment, design, construction, and funding requirements where applicable.
- Review investor proposals and applications to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives and provide clear recommendations to the business development director regarding approval or rejection.
- Support the evaluation of potential business opportunities and investments through financial analysis, preparation of recommendations, and development of required action plans.
- Gather, analyze, and disseminate market intelligence, including regional market data and competitive analysis, to support investors in assessing the feasibility of their business ventures within the Zones.
- Coordinate with internal departments across Company to ensure investor inquiries, concerns, and issues are addressed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with PR and Marketing teams in planning and executing events aimed at attracting potential investors.
- Prepare and submit reports on key business development activities and achievements to senior management as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (required).
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the required discipline.
Professional Training / Certifications
- Certification in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution (Preferred).
- Industrial Engineering certificate and/or experience (Preferred)
