Job Overview

Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Analytical Chemist to support scientific method review, validation, and development activities for a leading organization. This role is best suited for a candidate with a strong method-development background rather than an equipment-focused profile, and who is comfortable translating complex scientific findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing scientific and analytical methods to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Assess, design, and execute simulations related to analytical methods
  • Review and recommend method revisions based on data analysis and simulation outcomes
  • Develop and implement validation strategies, including devising appropriate tests for simulations
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure robustness and reproducibility of analytical results
  • Apply expertise across multiple analytical techniques to evaluate method suitability and performance
  • Provide method-based recommendations and guidance to internal teams and external customers
  • Clearly communicate results, findings, and data-driven narratives to non-scientific audiences when required

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline
  • Strong hands-on background with X-ray instrumentation
  • Working knowledge and experience with:
    • Gas Chromatography (GC)
    • Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) instruments
    • Nitrogen/Sulfur analyzers
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, assessing, and validating scientific methods
  • Proven ability to conduct simulations and evaluate their relevance and accuracy
  • Familiarity with a wide range of analytical methodologies and standards

Preferred Background

  • Experience in method development is strongly preferred over equipment-focused or service-only roles
  • Prior involvement in scientific method optimization, validation, or standardization initiatives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex scientific concepts to non-scientific stakeholders
