Commercial Manager – Construction & Aviation (2-Year Fixed Term)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead post?award commercial activities across a portfolio of major construction and aviation projects. This role is central to ensuring contractual compliance, managing variations, resolving disputes, and protecting commercial outcomes for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract administration — Oversee post-award obligations, performance tracking, and commercial governance.
- Claims & variations — Prepare, assess, negotiate, and close out complex claims.
- Dispute resolution — Lead commercial negotiations and support legal processes where required.
- Stakeholder management — Work closely with project, legal, finance, and operational teams.
- Risk management — Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
About You
- Proven experience in commercial management within construction, aviation, infrastructure, or major projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian contract frameworks (e.g., AS, GC21, bespoke forms).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver under time pressure.
