Commissioning Lead
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in large project commissioning within the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role
- Knowledge of hook-up and commissioning delivery processes and project phases, including completions walkdowns and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews
- Experience in Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) for large EPC contracts with strong technical commissioning expertise
- Proficient in reading P&IDs, datasheets, general arrangement drawings, and procedures
- Experience with LNG industry vendors such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.
- Experience supporting operations start-up in large-scale operating organizations
Key Job Accountabilities
- Support EPC PMT by reviewing critical documents and reports generated by the main subcontractor; attend workshops/review meetings when required.
- Analyse technical proposals and proposed deviations; assess exceptions and new technologies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support project schedule adherence to meet critical milestones (LLI procurement, engineered equipment procurement, ROS dates, etc.); develop and steward recovery plans where required.
- Verify accuracy of EPC contractor progress reports.
- Participate in quality audit activities; report findings accurately and provide mitigation plans where necessary.
