Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team on a large
?
scale data centre project in Frankfurt. This role is critical to the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all Mechanical and Electrical commissioning activities, ensuring systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with programme and client expectations.
The Commissioning Manager will act as the central point of contact for commissioning activities, working closely with internal teams, vendors, and client representatives. The role requires a strong blend of technical commissioning expertise and project management capability within a complex, multi

stakeholder environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and supervise Commissioning Engineers across all project phases
Define commissioning scope, strategy, and execution plans aligned with the overall project programme
Manage the overall M&E Commissioning Programme, including sequencing, milestone tracking, and reporting
Monitor progress against commissioning schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
Act as the primary interface with client stakeholders for all commissioning

Coordinate and communicate commissioning activities, priorities, and milestones with internal teams, OFCI and CFCI vendors
Facilitate and participate in detailed design and constructability reviews
Ensure all system queries, design clarifications, and technical issues are formally documented and resolved
Plan, manage, and coordinate Vendor FATs and FWTs, including attendance where required
Ensure commissioning activities comply with contract requirements, technical specifications, and project standards
Prepare, review, and manage commissioning documentation, including test scripts, procedures, and sign

Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure quality objectives and commissioning readiness are achieved
Attend and contribute to daily and weekly commissioning meetings (internal, vendor, and client

Provide regular commissioning progress and technical reports to senior project management
Support system handover, integrated testing, and final client acceptance
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or demonstrable equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Commissioning Management or leadership role within data centre or mission

Mechanical or Electrical bias, with strong working knowledge across both disciplines
Proven experience managing commissioning across multiple subcontractors and vendors
Strong understanding of EHS requirements related to Mechanical and Electrical commissioning activities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
