The Commissioning Mechanical Supervisor (based in China) is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Mechanical discipline activities during the construction, pre?commissioning, and commissioning phases of an offshore or onshore energy project. The role ensures Mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, HSSE requirements, and quality standards.
You will manage the day?to?day Mechanical operations at site, covering rotating and static equipment, mechanical packages, utilities, and piping systems. The position requires close coordination with construction, engineering, commissioning teams, and vendor representatives to ensure all Mechanical systems meet mechanical completion and commissioning requirements in a timely manner. The Supervisor leads system walkdowns, manages punch list resolution, verifies check sheets and technical documentation, and provides technical guidance to resolve site issues effectively.
Strong adherence to HSSE protocols, consistent reporting of progress and challenges, and ensuring compliance with approved procedures are essential parts of the role.
