Concrete & Steel Structure Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Concrete & Steel Structure Engineer and play a vital role in shaping industrial infrastructure projects across Europe. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design, working on prestigious petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial sites. Collaborate with top-tier clients such as Total, Shell, and Technip, delivering innovative solutions that meet stringent Eurocode standards and client specifications.

What You Will Do:
You will be responsible for designing and calculating reinforced concrete and steel structures, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and safety regulations. Your expertise will guide projects from preliminary design through to final approval, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient structural solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in reinforced concrete and steel structures
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes (EC0, EC1, EC2, EC3, EC8) and applicable national annexes
  • Proven experience with industrial buildings, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical installations
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis and Bentley STAAD Pro
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder interaction skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and make informed decisions

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of American codes and standards
  • Experience with pipe racks, platforms, and equipment foundations
  • Exposure to construction site supervision and contractor coordination

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Over 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Past involvement in petrochemical projects, especially during execution phases in Europe

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a multilingual environment, with documents prepared in English (or French)
  • Willingness to adhere to HSE regulations and actively participate in safety initiatives
  • Flexibility to travel as required for project site visits
