Airswift is seeking a Construction Manager to support a major client on a long-term contract in Fort Stockton, TX.


The Construction Manager oversees onshore wind project execution from construction through commissioning, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of renewable energy assets. This role leads site activities, manages contractors, supports technical troubleshooting, and ensures compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and operational requirements.


Responsibilities

:

  • Oversee safe, cost-effective, and compliant project execution from commissioning through operations.

  • Coordinate and supervise employees, contractors, subcontractors, and maintenance partners on?site.

  • Lead daily and weekly meetings to track progress, align priorities, and ensure deliverables are met.

  • Conduct QA/QC inspections, performance evaluations, end-of-warranty audits, and predictive maintenance activities.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, reporting, and inventory.

  • Ensure compliance with NERC, ISO, OSHA, environmental regulations, and land-use requirements.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with Technical Support teams on root-cause analysis and technical resolutions.

  • Partner with Operations Support and the Control Room to improve performance and implement action plans.

  • Review contractor schedules, invoices, payment applications, and change requests.

  • Act as the on-site liaison with landowners, community members, and project stakeholders.

  • Support administration of leases, easements, and other project agreements.

  • Uphold company standards for safety, compliance, and community engagement at all times.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of progressive experience in construction, project management, or the energy industry.

  • Proven experience in Onshore Wind Construction Management.

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in supervisory or leadership roles.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to travel on short notice and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting community relations, landowner engagement, or renewable energy development.

  • Strong understanding of compliance obligations for onshore wind operations.
