CONSTRUCTION METHODS SPECIALIST- PRE COMMISSIONING AND PERMIT TO WORK
Join our dynamic team as a Construction Methods Specialist in the thriving Oil and Gas industry! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Project, a significant 1,500km pipeline initiative spanning Uganda and Tanzania. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring safe and efficient construction methods during the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
Role Overview
Mentor and guide project disciplines and contractors on feasible, efficient, and safe construction methods throughout various project stages.
Identify key risks and develop management systems to mitigate project risks for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with IOGP LSR requirements through effective systems implementation.
Support various project disciplines, particularly on financed projects.
Develop and deliver training programs focused on Construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, Quality, and Safety management systems.
Implement a Deming process within key disciplines to enhance project outcomes.
Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of Permit to Work (PTW) systems during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Skills & Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of construction methods within the Oil and Gas industry.
Strong understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning processes.
Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Familiarity with IOGP LSR standards and compliance systems.
Ability to design and implement training programs for personnel development.
Proficient in developing management systems for major projects.
Experience with eVision software and root cause analysis tools.
Education & Experience
Technically Qualified Professional in International Oil and Gas operations.
Tertiary Qualification equivalent to a NEBOSH Diploma.
Certifications in ISO 31000, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001.
Proficient in major MS Office software.
