Job Details:
Job Purpose
Management and resolution of major claims submitted by contractors and LLI suppliers, ensuring effective dispute handling and resolution on a multi
-billion USD offshore project.
Mandatory Requirements
1. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or Engineering.
2. Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 8 years’ experience
in a business
related function or discipline.
At least
4 years’ Oil & Gas industry
experience.
Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role
, or oversight of contractors, subcontractors, service providers, or vendors.
Experience in contract administration and claims management for Offshore EPCI contracts
, including large
scale developments.
- Proven track record of successful amicable resolution of contractual disputes.
- Experience in formal dispute resolution processes, including mediation, binding arbitration, and litigation.
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern legal statutes and civil codes (preferred).
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) (preferred).
