1. PREAMBLE
This specification defines the execution conditions for the services related to Control and Safety System studies to be carried out by the PROVIDER within the framework of project XXX.
2. SCOPE OF SUBCONTRACTING

Scope of Services
The PROVIDER shall perform the following tasks:
- Development/update of technical specifications (DCS/SIS)
- Development/update of control-command architectures (ICSS)
- Participation in ICSS basic and/or detailed design studies
- Follow-up of internal and/or external interfaces
- Participation in validation activities related to installation aspects of control, safety, fire and gas systems (cabinet quantities, typical loops, etc.)
- Preparation of functional specifications: functional analysis, control narrative, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams
- Follow-up of functional safety studies
3. BASE DOCUMENTATION
Documents provided by TECHNIP FRANCE to the PROVIDER:
- Project QHSE discipline plan
- General project presentation documents
- Technical project documents (philosophies, technical specifications, lists, architectures)
- Access to the project discipline database
4. REQUIRED SKILLS
The PROVIDER must possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of Control & Safety Systems specific to Oil & Gas
- Knowledge of ICSS Offshore/Onshore know?how and networks
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas processes and/or F&G rules
- Ability to work with internal (engineering disciplines) and external (partners, subcontractors, vendors) interfaces
- Knowledge of ICSS installation/validation aspects
- Knowledge of applicable ISA standards 5.1/2/3/4/5/6
- Knowledge of IEC 61511/62443 standards and optional IEC61511 certification (TÜV – QUALI?SIL)
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Word/Excel/Visio)
- Reporting to the Lead Engineer
- Fluency in English
5. PROCEDURES – METHODOLOGY
The PROVIDER must follow project rules, best practices, and applicable Quality Assurance procedures, in particular:
- Project Quality Plan DQHSEP
- Discipline Quality Plan DQHSEP
6. QUALITY OF DELIVERED DOCUMENTATION
Documents produced must meet the required quality standards:
- Technical quality
- Content quality
- Presentation quality (graphics and readability)
All documents must be written in the contract language.
7. PLANNING & OBJECTIVES
The PROVIDER shall comply with the planning objectives established by TECHNIP FRANCE. These documents are available from the operational correspondent.
