Our client is seeking a Control Room Operator to work within their facilities located in Watford City, North Dakota on a long-term assignment (initially 12 months with possibility of extension / becoming permanent).
Responsibilities
Responsible for the successful implementation of the iOF/iOC core workflows.
Monitors production from a centralized control room and optimizes accordingly.
Achieves LRP production targets.
Participates in daily iOF/iOC collaboration/optimization meeting.
Generates and validates daily recovery plan.
Generates work notifications and material requests.
Assists in prioritization of projects.
Complies with HSE policies, procedures and complies with applicable regulatory policies and procedures.
Supports production control optimization.
Provides oversight and control of stabilization units, trunk-line, central facilities, and production control.
Mobilizes asset optimization.
Conduct intelligent alert management, forecast management, and model management.
Monitors/Optimizes artificial lift including plunger lift, intermitters, capillary string/soap injection, velocity string, well head compression, rod pump, and gas lift Adjust settings to maintain critical flow rates.
Consolidates and manages results documentation and audits.
Communicates any work priority changes necessary to the MSO.
Conducts daily loss production tracking, LPRS tracking and end of the month validation.
Performs Oil truck dispatch and coordination.
Responsible for product specification optimization, equipment monitoring and optimization.
Assists in overseeing the operation and optimization of lease facilities.
Responsible for the successful implementation of the iOF/iOC production surveillance and optimization plan.
Provides input and guidance for field-wide operating strategy.
Provides updates and guidance on operations, maintenance, and down-hole activities for the area.
Assists in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
Interfaces with Engineering for data gathering requests.
Assists in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
Manages the production and downtime events in area of responsibility to minimize repeat failures.
Coordinates unloading wells to tanks.
Updates Well-view resulting from changes in well bore equipment.
Monitors and schedules batch salt/chemical treatments (not corrosion).
Ensures lease-hold wells are produced to maintain leases.
Assists in correcting production discrepancies in Avocet.
Assists with meeting OPEX LRP Budget.
Adds value through cost improvement opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.
- Requires a strong understanding of discipline.
- Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
- Makes decisions within broad parameters.
- Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.
Work Schedule: 5/40 – Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
