Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Location: Paris (1 nweek)  / Lyon - France

Elevate Your Career in Control, Command & Safety Systems Engineer

Airswift is currently seeking a Control, Command & Safety Systems Engineer to support the FEED phase of a major international project within the refining sector. The role will involve early-phase engineering activities, coordination of control and telecommunications systems, and participation in safety studies within a multidisciplinary and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage control, command, safety, and telecommunications systems activities during the FEED phase
  • Prepare general inquiry specifications for control systems
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for control and telecom systems
  • Supervise and coordinate telecommunications engineering activities
  • Participate in HAZOP studies (initially on-site in Paris)
  • Monitor project progress, planning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and document templates
  • Produce all deliverables in English, in line with project requirements
  • Maintain awareness and application of HSE requirements throughout engineering and design activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in control, command, and safety systems engineering
  • Proven experience on FEED or large-scale engineering projects
  • Strong experience within the refining, oil & gas, or chemical industries
  • Control, command, and safety systems engineering
  • Telecommunications systems coordination
  • Engineering documentation and specifications
  • Material Take-Off preparation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Demonstrated HSE awareness in engineering and design environments
