Branch Manager – Customs Brokerage (Logistics / Freight Forwarding)

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager – Customs Brokerage to lead and oversee branch-level customs operations within a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery while driving team performance and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in resource planning, operational optimization, and change management, ensuring the organization is well-positioned to meet both current and future business demands.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end customs brokerage operations at the branch level
Drive resource planning and workforce optimization, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet productivity and growth targets
Monitor and manage operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with budget and service expectations
Implement and continuously improve operational standards, processes, and workflows
Oversee performance across operations, including productivity, service quality, subcontractor management, and incident handling
Identify operational gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions
Proactively assess and manage operational risks, including contingency planning
Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders and operational staff to enhance performance and accountability
Lead and drive change management initiatives within the branch to improve efficiency and service delivery
Collaborate with commercial teams and support customer engagements when required
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage operations
Strong understanding of customs processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Proven track record in team leadership, performance management, and operational excellence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
