Job Title: Data Platform & Access Management Consultant
Duration: Initial contract until end of year
Workload: Full time hours
Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)
Location: Belgium
We are supporting a client in the financial services space to engage a specialist contractor to help modernise their data platform and strengthen access management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the modernisation of enterprise data platforms, ensuring scalability and governance alignment
- Implement and optimise access management (IAM) within data environments
- Work on data governance frameworks including tooling and integration with existing platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver platform enhancements
- Support selection and integration of external technology partners and providers
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with data platforms (modern data architectures, data lakes, or data warehouses)
- Hands-on expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) within data ecosystems
- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and tools
- Experience working in financial services or regulated environments
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working with external vendors/consultancies
- Exposure to enterprise governance suites
- Previous work within private banking or similar environments
