Airswift is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to work full-time in Suriname with a large company specializing in pipe manufacturing and providing services related to the global energy sector and other industrial applications.

Responsible for leading and supporting the cross?consolidation of invoicing and demand forecasts across Sub Business Units , ensuring alignment with supply feasibility and defining a reliable Commitment to Deliver. Acts as a key link between Commercial, Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics to guarantee forecast accuracy and operational feasibility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Consolidate invoicing and demand forecasts across SubBUs, ensuring consistency and data integrity.
  • Validate demand projections against supply feasibility, including:

    • Production plans
    • Transportation constraints
    • Distribution and inventory bottlenecks

(Commitment to Supply – CTS).

  • For stock management:

    • Ensure accuracy of sales forecasts, safety stocks, contingency stocks, and inventory parameters.
    • Monitor inventory impact of demand variations.

  • Monitor and control performance through KPIs such as:

    • Forecast accuracy
    • Commitment to Deliver compliance
    • Inventory turns and service level
  • Proactively promote corrective commercial or supply actions when deviations from plan are detected.
  • Analyze bookings and previsions to ensure alignment with projected demand.

Consolidate and communicate plant load and capacity overview to relevant stakeholders

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in: Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting.

Proven experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, or high-turnover consumer goods environments.

Experience in managing large datasets and performing data validations and reconciliations.

Previous experience in inventory management and capacity planning.

Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

ERP: SAP (nice to have)

Advanced Excel (macros, Power Query, pivot tables)

Power BI / Tableau (desirable)

English: Advanced / Fluent (mandatory)
