The Project

You will join a technical engineering office working on industrial installations for the transport of natural gas, hydrogen, and CO?.
The role is part of a demanding industrial environment, with a strong focus on technical data quality, documentation reliability, and installation safety.

You will work closely with project engineers and internal technical teams (E&I, piping, civil engineering) to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant as?built documentation, in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements.


The Role

As an E&I Draughtsman / As?Built Designer, you are responsible for verifying, updating, and producing E&I as?built technical documentation related to industrial installations.

You play a key role in technical data consolidation, while also providing support for small?scale projects, taking into account technical feasibility, safety, ergonomics, and cost considerations.


Key Responsibilities

E&I Drawings & Documentation

  • Verify, update, and archive E&I technical documentation
  • Produce as?built documentation based on project data and operational inputs
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability of technical documents

Project Support

  • Contribute to small E&I projects, depending on workload
  • Integrate constraints related to ergonomics, feasibility, safety, and cost
  • Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary technical teams

Coordination & Tools

  • Work with dedicated document management systems
  • Maintain regular interaction with internal stakeholders across disciplines

Tools & Software

  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation V8
  • SEE Electrical Expert and/or Eplan
  • Internal document management tools
  • Windows 10 / Office 365 environment

Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or Process Automation
    or
  • Associate degree / Technical secondary education in Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical fields

(Depending on the degree, a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial, chemical, or energy environments is required.)

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge of:
    • Low?voltage distribution
    • Instrumentation circuits
    • Pneumatics
    • RGIE regulations
  • Proficiency in E&I design software
  • Knowledge of automation and PLCs (e.g. Allen?Bradley) is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail and precision

  • Good communication and team collaboration skills
  • Structured, rigorous, and able to work autonomously
