Overview
Airswift is currently recruiting for a E&I / Automation Engineer to support a major shutdown and maintenance project at a CCGT power plant.
This role will play a key part in the preparation, coordination, and execution of electrical, instrumentation, and automation activities, ensuring safe and efficient delivery within a tight outage schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Shutdown Manager in preparing and executing maintenance activities
- Plan and coordinate E&I and automation interventions, including: Motors, transformers, sensors, thermocouples, PLC systems
- Manage and follow up on: Preventive and corrective maintenance scope, Improvement projects and opportunity work, Feasibility studies
- Prepare and monitor: Work permits (including execution phase), Activity schedules and progress tracking, Spare parts availability and logistics
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure alignment
- Interface with Procurement for: RFQs, bid evaluations, and service follow-up
- Define and validate: Testing requirements, Lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Participate in system availability planning and plant readiness activities
- Provide daily reporting on progress, risks, and deviations
- Ensure documentation is up to date and compliant (reports, technical docs, scope changes)
- Contribute to shutdown feedback and continuous improvement initiatives
Education & Experience
Engineering degree (Bac +5) in Electrical / Automation / Industrial Engineering
OR- Relevant technical background with significant industry experience
- Senior-level experience in industrial environments (power, energy, oil & gas)
- Proven experience in shutdowns / turnarounds / maintenance projects
Technical Skills
- Strong background in: Electrical systems, Instrumentation, Automation (PLCs)
- Experience with CMMS (preferred)
- AutoCAD knowledge (preferred)
- Understanding of: Maintenance operations, Site activities and coordination, Lifting operations (basic knowledge)
Languages
- French – Fluent (mandatory)
- English – Professional level
