Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician III to support electrical maintenance operations and ensure high equipment reliability and safety standards. This role is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supporting electrical isolation procedures (LOTO), and minimizing downtime across facility operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience working in industrial environments, and a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Support field electrical maintenance activities and electrical isolation procedures (LOTO)
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on:
    • Lighting systems
    • Air conditioning systems
    • Electric motors
  • Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities
  • Respond to breakdown maintenance issues to minimize production impact
  • Maximize operational reliability and equipment availability
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor or designated lead

Level III Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and work with vendors and subcontractors when required
  • Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational simplification
  • Promote and maintain high SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) standards
  • Demonstrate personal responsibility for the safety of self and others
  • Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts
  • Participate actively in waste management and environmental initiatives
  • Attend and contribute to daily Operations morning shift meetings

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar electrical maintenance role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Relevant technical certification(s) or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain field conditions and recommend corrective actions
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments, including cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
