Electrical Technician

Location: Offshore North Sea
Rotation: 3/3 rotation
 

Position Overview

This position offers a technically demanding opportunity for an experienced specialist to deliver electrical maintenance and support on a short-term contract basis. The role responsibilities centre on maintaining high safety standards, ensuring system compliance, and supporting operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with client and industry standard policies and procedures.
  • Ensure equipment, systems, and work sites are reinstated to the required standard.
  • Utilise ISSOW system to act as Performing Authority, control the worksite, and liaise with Area Authority.
  • Support electrical vendors and subcontractors on site.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for all team members on electrical issues.
  • Ensure work history is thoroughly recorded in line with data quality requirements for maintenance activities.
  • Participate in emergency response duties as required.
  • Contribute to production management and effective utilisation of the asset’s Production Loss Management System.
  • Identify asset threats and opportunities and support the maintenance process.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and removal of low-value activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 (Electrical) or equivalent qualification required.
  • Compex Certificate essential.
  • BOSIET and MIST certifications required.
  • OGUK Medical required.
