Engineering Analyst III

  • Acts as a data steward, technical advisor, and operational partner
  • Ensures asset data is reliable, actionable, and aligned with the organization’s maintenance and asset management goals
  • Manages, analyzes, and interprets Asset and Location data within the IBM Maximo Asset Management system
  • Supports asset management and maintenance operations through data integrity and data-driven insights
  • Works closely with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately load, import, validate, and maintain asset and location records in Maximo
  • Gather, prepare, and consolidate data from multiple sources for system upload
  • Map source data to appropriate Maximo fields
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Review engineering drawings and related asset documentation
  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot data discrepancies
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from the Maximo system to support business objectives
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for asset performance, maintenance activities, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, automate workflows, and streamline reporting
  • Work closely with site teams and Maximo users to collect required information and resolve data-related issues
  • Support both initial data loads and ongoing data updates
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving Maximo-related data issues
  • Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Support Maximo system upgrades, configuration changes, and data migration initiatives
  • Train users on automated data entry, reporting tools, and best practices for maintaining data quality

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Solid understanding of asset management, maintenance processes, and reliability principles
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Capable of explaining technical issues and resolutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
  • Or 8+ years of equivalent professional experience
