We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager / Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of major mining and mineral processing projects. This role will play a key part across study phases (PFS/DFS/FEED) and/or project delivery, working closely with EPCM partners and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical expertise and coordination capability, with involvement across design, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate engineering activities across studies and/or project delivery phases
Provide oversight and direction to multi-disciplinary design teams
Manage scope, schedule, and cost inputs, including CAPEX estimation support
Review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
Interface closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Support project reporting and progress tracking
Contribute technically where required (not purely managerial)
Key Requirements
Strong experience in mining / mineral processing / process plant projects (essential)
Background in engineering design (civil, mechanical, structural, or process)
Demonstrated experience in engineering management and/or project engineering roles
Proven ability to lead PFS, DFS, FEED and/or detailed design phases
Experience working within EPCM or engineering consultancy environments
Strong understanding of CAPEX estimates, design reviews, and project delivery frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ideal Background
15–30+ years’ experience within mining / resources projects
Experience across process plants, concentrators, and associated infrastructure
Exposure to both greenfield and brownfield developments
Track record delivering projects through study and execution phases
Nice to Have
Experience working on the owner’s team or in study management roles
Exposure to tailings, water infrastructure, or non-process infrastructure (NPI)
Experience on international mining projects
