Airswift is seeking an Entry-Level LDAR Technician to support oil & gas operations in New Mexico / Texas on an initial 2-year assignment, with strong potential for extension.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join the LDAR team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in building experience in environmental compliance and field operations. Prior LDAR experience is not required - training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with field inspections and tagging of components as part of LDAR programs
- Support Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) surveys (training provided)
- Travel to field locations, including remote sites, to support daily activities
- Learn and apply LDAR procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Support basic troubleshooting and follow established processes to complete tasks safely and efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
- Computer skills are required
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in a field-based role
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Up to ~4 years of experience in oil & gas, lease operations, maintenance, or similar field roles is a plus
- No prior LDAR experience required (training will be provided)
