Project Context
This is a major, strategically significant LNG development with an overall investment value of approximately $18 billion.
The onshore scope includes:
- Two LNG trains with a combined capacity of approximately 13 MTPA
- LNG and condensate storage facilities
- Marine infrastructure, including jetty and loading systems
- Utilities and early site infrastructure (including resettlement village, security systems, airport, permanent camps, and roads)
The onshore EPC contract value is approximately $9 billion, with construction estimated at around $4 billion.
Total personnel on site is expected to peak at approximately 15,000.
The LNG Tanks Field Construction Superintendent is responsible for the monitoring and oversight of EPC contractor activities related to LNG tank construction, as well as additional scopes assigned to the team. The role primarily focuses on LNG Tanks 1 & 2.
