Airswift is seeking an experienced FPSO Delivery Lead to join a major offshore development project based in Mexico City, supporting the delivery of a critical FPSO asset from FEED through EPC(I) and offshore installation phases.
Role Overview
The FPSO Delivery Lead will act as the Company’s Representative, overseeing and managing FPSO contractors across engineering, procurement, construction, yard activities, transportation, offshore installation, hook-up and commissioning. This role is pivotal in ensuring delivery in line with contractual, technical, regulatory, and HSEQ requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main Company interface with FPSO FEED and EPC(I) contractors
- Lead and coordinate FPSO engineering and delivery teams
- Ensure contractor performance aligns with project schedule, KPIs and quality standards
- Manage interfaces with SURF and WHP contractors to ensure schedule and technical alignment
- Provide leadership on HSEQ matters and act as a role model for contractors
- Support contract administration, change management, claims, NCRs, and technical queries
- Participate in risk workshops, identifying and mitigating project risks
- Ensure lessons learned are captured and incorporated
- Travel to contractor yards, work sites and offshore locations as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline
- 12–15+ years of experience in FPSO/FSU or similar offshore construction projects
- Proven experience across FPSO FEED and EPC phases
- Strong knowledge of lease & operate contracts and contractor management
- Experience working with both operators and contractors
- Solid understanding of international and local regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Languages
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Advanced/Fluent Spanish is a strong advantage
