Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations First Line Supervisor to lead field operations and ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance across assigned operational units. This role is responsible for supervising personnel and contractors while maintaining high standards in safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all personnel adhere to safety, security, health, and environmental (SSHE) requirements
- Supervise and coordinate contractor activities, ensuring alignment with company standards and contractual obligations
- Maintain compliance with internal management systems such as:
- Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS)
- Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS)
- Global Product Quality & Integrity Systems (GPQMS / GPIMS)
- Ensure compliance with all corporate, regulatory, and local requirements
- Drive operational reliability, efficiency, and profitability
- Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Plan and coordinate field operations, manpower, and logistics
- Optimize performance of plant/field assets
- Lead emergency response planning and execution
- Ensure customer needs and expectations are met
- Support labor relations and community engagement where applicable
- Oversee Turnaround (TA) and/or Start-Up teams as needed
- Act as a key interface for contractual and operational compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or operations discipline
- Strong knowledge of design standards, specifications, and safety requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), particularly for technical communication
