Position Details

- Engagement Type: Fixed-term Consulting Contract (extendable based on project phase / business needs) One year

- Working Days: Sunday to Thursday, aligned with Company standard hours
- Mobilization: Immediate / within 2 to 4 weeks preferred
Role Summary
The company is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant on a contract basis to support the configuration, enhancement, rollout, and post-go-live stabilization of its ERP platform.
The consultant will partner with Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Project Management & Accounting (PMA) stakeholders to translate business requirements into D365 F&O solutions, configure modules end-to-end, drive UAT, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer to the company's internal support function.
Key Responsibilities (Not Limited to the below)
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Project Management & Accounting (PMA) functions.
Configure D365 F&O modules across:
- Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, HR, Payroll
- Supply Chain Management: Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Vendor Collaboration
- Project Management & Accounting
- Perform fit-gap analysis between business processes and out-of-the-box D365 F&O capabilities; design workarounds or configurations or recommend extensions where necessary.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, test scripts, training material, and cut-over runbooks following Microsoft Success-by-Design / Sure Step methodology.
- Collaborate with technical developers (X++) to design, validate, and test customizations, integrations, workflows, and reports (SSRS, Power BI).
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); track and resolve defects through Azure DevOps.
- Define data migration mappings, build/validate data entities, and support cutover and reconciliation activities.
- Configure chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting profiles, vendor/customer master, and project structures aligned to the company's accounting policies and IFRS reporting requirements.
- Configure Project Management & Accounting setups for project types (Time & Material, Fixed Price, Investment, Cost), categories, WBS, project budgets, billing rules, and revenue recognition relevant to real estate development and infrastructure operations.
- Deliver end-user training, hypercare support, and structured knowledge transfer to the company's IT team and business super-users.
- Troubleshoot functional incidents and coordinate escalations with Microsoft Support / implementation partner ecosystem.
- Adhere to the company's IT governance, change management, data privacy, and information security policies throughout the engagement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on functional consulting experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and at least one full lifecycle implementation on D365 F&O.
- At least 2 full end-to-end implementation cycles (Analyze ? Design ? Build ? Test ? Deploy ? Hyper-care) on D365 F&O.
- Deep functional expertise in D365 F&O Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, HR, Payroll, Cash & Bank, and Budgeting.
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain management, procurement & sourcing, inventory management, and vendor collaboration.
- Solid hands-on experience configuring Project Management & Accounting (PMA), including project types, WBS, billing rules, and revenue recognition.
- Proven authorship of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and UAT scripts.
- Working knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and Power Platform integration touchpoints.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) and/or Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330) preferred.
Preferred / Desirable
- Prior experience delivering D365 F&O for government, semi-government, real-estate development, logistics, or industrial-zone entities in Qatar or the wider GCC.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse-based extensions.
- Hands-on configuration experience of IFRS 15 (Revenue) and IFRS 16 (Leases) within D365 F&O.
- Arabic language skills (read / write / speak) strongly preferred for stakeholder management.
- Experience integrating D365 F&O with peripheral systems such as DMS, eprocurement, HRMS/HCM, CRM, and bank host to host channels.

Contract Terms
