Airswift is currently recruiting a Global Naval Lead for one of our major clients to work in Monaco for a full-perm contract.
The Global Naval Lead will provide technical expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of marine structures and vessels. Also, the lead will be assisting in developing best practices and work instruction for the fleet. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of marine assets within the company's operations
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to solve technical issues locally and fleet wide (i.e. structural re-assessments, Loading condition simulations)
- Ensure the integrity and safety of naval structures and ensure compliance by following up on Class issues, local & Flag regulations
- Review and approve reports and specifications for inspection and repairs and monitor and report the working progress of the inspection campaigns.
- Review and approve the inspection plans (Prescriptive and RBI).
- Assist on budget preparation for the inspections campaigns and follow up during the year to support its achievement.
- Assist in developing best practices and work instruction for the fleet.
- Represent, when delegated by OTA (Operatin Technical Authority), Operations in strategical and tactical meetings
- Follow-up the preparation of Naval related KPIs and discipline dashboard and highlight anomalies to your direct Manager
Education
- Degree in Naval Architecture (including stability, naval structure and naval architecture) or related degree
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in shipping or offshore construction and repair and/or Operations for Oil and Gas companies
- Experience in Class Society as surveyor is an advantage.
