Our client, major LNG Operator in Qatar, is hiring for Information Management Specialist to work for major offshore project (Offshore Brownfield & Greenfield scope). This is a contract and residential role working 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below:
Title: Information Management Specialist
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)
Location: Doha, Qatar or Site Office
Working Schedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day
Job Purpose:
Guide and perform information management and handover activities for the Offshore projects scopes to ensure adherence and compliance to QELNG policies and procedures.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Reports to Head of Information Management.
Reviews and ensures the correctness and completeness of Information Management activities from Contractors and Subcontractors
Verifies and coordinates the Master Document Registers (MDR) and ensures distribution of documents aligns with the Project’s Document Distribution Matrix (DDM).
Contributes to the preparation and reviews the development of ITT packages to ensure COMPANY requirements are captured for the duration of the agreement.
Ensuring COMPANY requirements are effectively communicated to Vendors to ensure seamless delivery of deliverables to COMPANY.
Comprehensive understanding of COMPANY Project Information Handover requirements, policies and procedures to have a resilient and structured approach to achieving Early and Final deliverables.
Assists in producing and compiling periodic management reports.
Provides general daily assistance to the PMT in all matters relating to technical documentation and correspondence.
Ensures adherence of COMPANY and Contractor PMTs to Project Policies and Procedures within the Information Management disciplines.
Ensures early and handover documentation is scheduled to be delivered on time to end users and asset owners, facilitating the later transfer of the care and custody of the asset.
Attend and prompt weekly discipline meetings with counterparts from internal disciplines, and Contractor organization to resolve any concerns and troubleshoot any issues raised.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and
Statistics
Knowledge and/or Experience:
10 years’ experience in information management fields including 4 years experience Oil and Gas
Experience in working with EPC Contractors, sub-contractors, and Vendors Knowledge in Project Business related functions/disciplines such as scheduling, risk management, change management, procurement, pre and post-award contract management, reporting, lessons learned,
and support services.
Strong knowledge of relevant software and computer skills such as dashboards, data analytic
tools, and business automation/enhancement software
Sound written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Successful track record in similar roles in large international projects.
