Role Overview
This role supports inventory control and shipment planning activities to ensure efficient product distribution and customer satisfaction. The Junior Inventory Control Analyst works under close supervision, following defined procedures and supporting the wider supply chain and finance teams with routine analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor stocking levels to ensure accuracy, availability, and efficient warehouse operations
  • Perform daily warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods
  • Schedule and revise shipment plans to support on time and cost effective product distribution
  • Monitor inventory levels, production rates, and demand to support accurate reorder planning and next level decision making
  • Conduct cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and support periodic inventory and asset valuations
  • Maintain accurate inventory, shipment, and transaction data within ERP systems and Excel based trackers
  • Support basic inventory and financial analysis under supervision, demonstrating an analytical mindset when reviewing data and trends
  • Follow established warehouse, inventory, and safety procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Liaise with warehouse, supply chain, and office? based teams to support smooth end to end operations

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse based environment with inventory responsibilities
  • Ability to perform both hands on warehouse work and office based analytical tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data tracking and basic analysis
  • Experience using ERP systems for inventory and warehouse transactions
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy
  • Good analytical skills or analytical mindset, especially when reviewing stock and inventory data
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to follow structured, procedure based processes
  • Forklift licence (mandatory)
  • Comfortable working in a support role, with supervision, while contributing to operational improvements
